Terms of Use

1. Service publisher

The Service is published by Nicolas Bordeaux, an individual acting in a non-professional capacity (France).

Data hosting: Supabase (database and authentication). Website hosting: Vercel Inc. App distribution: Apple (App Store) and Google (Google Play).

2. Purpose of the Service

Suite is an application to track TV shows and movies, check off watched episodes, get release reminders, discover new content, create lists, and post comments.

The core features of the Service (tracking TV shows and movies, lists, statistics, comments, notifications, library import) are provided free of charge. An optional subscription, “Suite TV Gold”, unlocks the personalisation options described in section 3. No core feature is reserved for subscribers.

The publisher may change, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Service at any time, in particular for technical reasons.

3. “Suite TV Gold” subscription

Suite TV Gold is an optional paid subscription. It unlocks personalisation options: accent colours, themes, app icons, avatar ring, animated avatar, profile text colours, name font, uploading your own poster, and editing your own comments. It unlocks no tracking feature. Where advertising is shown in the app, the subscription removes it; this benefit is only advertised to the people who actually see ads.

Available durations and prices: 1 month at €1.99 and 12 months at €17.99. These amounts include all applicable taxes for France. In other countries, the applicable price is the one shown in your currency on the purchase screen at the time of subscribing, and that price prevails.

Payment is made to Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play), which charge the account linked to your device upon confirmation of purchase. The publisher never has access to your payment card details.

The subscription AUTOMATICALLY RENEWS: it renews for the same duration, at the same price, unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Renewal is charged within the 24 hours preceding the end of the current period.

You can review, manage, and cancel your subscription at any time in your account settings: on iOS, Settings → your name → Subscriptions; on Android, the Google Play app → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period, during which you keep access. Deleting the app does NOT cancel the subscription.

The current period is not refunded upon cancellation. Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google, which alone hold the transaction, under their own terms.

No free trial and no promotional pricing are offered at this time. The subscription is not eligible for Family Sharing.

Any change to the price of an ongoing subscription is notified to you by the relevant store and, where its rules require it, needs your express consent; failing that, the subscription is not renewed.

When the subscription expires, the app returns to its default appearance. Your personalisation choices are kept and restored if you subscribe again.

Right of withdrawal: the subscription concerns digital content supplied immediately. By requesting access as soon as you subscribe, you agree to immediate performance of the contract and waive your fourteen-day right of withdrawal, in accordance with Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code. Your other statutory consumer rights are unaffected.

4. Access and account

An account can be created with an email address and password, with “Sign in with Apple,” or with “Sign in with Google.” You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials confidential and for all activity carried out from your account.

The Service is intended for people aged 13 or older. By using it, you represent that you meet the age requirement.

You agree to provide accurate information and not to impersonate any third party.

5. User-generated content

The Service lets you post comments and other content (“User Content”). You retain your rights in your User Content, but you grant the publisher a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute it in order to operate the Service.

You are solely responsible for your User Content. The following are strictly prohibited, without limitation: illegal, hateful, discriminatory, defamatory, harassing, violent, pornographic, or misleading content, content that infringes the rights of others (copyright, privacy, etc.), and spam.

The publisher enforces a zero-tolerance policy toward objectionable content and abusive behavior. It may, at its discretion and without notice, moderate or remove any User Content and suspend or delete the account of any user who violates these Terms.

You can report content or a user, or request removal of content, by writing to contact@suitetv.app. Reports are handled within a reasonable time.

6. Intellectual property

The application, its code, design, and graphic elements (excluding metadata and User Content) are protected and remain the property of the publisher. No reproduction is permitted without prior consent.

Metadata, artwork, and information about shows, movies, and episodes are provided by TheTVDB. Suite does not own them and does not warrant their accuracy or completeness.

7. Availability and no warranty

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, in particular regarding continuity, freedom from errors, or the accuracy of third-party data (TheTVDB).

To the extent permitted by law, the publisher shall not be liable for indirect damages, loss of data, or unavailability of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits your liability beyond what the law allows or removes your mandatory statutory consumer rights.

8. Personal data

The processing of your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.

9. Termination

You may sign out and delete your data at any time from within the app (Settings → Data → “Erase my library”), or request deletion of your account by contacting us.

The publisher may suspend or terminate your access in the event of a breach of these Terms.

10. Changes to the Terms

These Terms may change. The applicable version is the one in force at the time you use the Service. In the event of a material change, reasonable notice may be provided.

11. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought first. Failing that, the French courts shall have jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer-protection rules.
